Pros and cons of Aqua Moto Racing 2 app for iPhone and iPad

Aqua Moto Racing 2 app good for

Remember Wave Race 64s and Jet Motos of the mid-90s? This is as close as youll get to those games on iPhone, and I spent an embarrassing amount of time playing those games way back when. Controls are spot-on, and although theres nothing fresh here, its still a good way to kill a ride on the subway. Worth your $4.99, and if it goes on sale, you oughtta jump on it.

This is the best driving game i played on my iphone. The controls are perfect and the graphics are great and smooth. My only complaint is the lack of difficulty. Its way too easy. I finished it in less than 2 hours. While i loved every minutes of it, it would have been great to include more advanced AI.

A fantastic game, I would give it 6 stars if I could. It reminds so much of Wave Race 64. A few things I would like to see in the future: Make an Extreme difficulty level. Create a stunt/free play mode. Add a few more tracks, if possible, along with the Extreme difficulty level. More customization of the rider and vehicle. A more complicated stunt system with the ability to press two buttons and do a different stunt, as well as the ability to do flips and barrel rolls. All in all, this is an amazing game, highly recommended.

A very fun game that reminds me of Wave Race 64. The option to choose between accelerometer and touch steering is a great addition. It would be at five stars if it supported iPod. I also noticed a bug where you cannot steer (touch controls) for a second after switching from one app to AMR2. This is only slightly annoying, but I would still like to see it fixed. Game Center integration and an online vs. mode would make this the best racing game on the iPhone.

This game is a steal for .99 cents.. Graphics and physics are great and seems fun to play, like everyone else is saying reminds me of wave race 64.

Great sequel to the original. The graphics are beautiful and gameplay is challenging and fun. Look forward to game centre integration, then Ill bug all my friends to purchase this so we can compete. Wave Racer 64 used to be a favourite of mine and this is as close as it gets, except this one has better graphics and is portable!

Some bad moments

Stupid people over-rate everything. You should play game for a week and then rate it..... Waste of money

How is it possible to make a sequel as dull as fun was the original. Week controls, week boost, poor feeling.

Would probably rate 5 stars if they included iPhone 5 support for the 4" display in the update they just released… rather disappointing especially since this is the first update for this app in over 2 years Id say.

Im sorry, but this game doesnt appeal to me. the beats are slow, the physics are off, and the water looks terrible. it has all of the needed elements of an awesome game, but the developers need to kick it up a notch. Im just not content with 40-50 mph. When I want to play a racing game, I want a fast paced, pay attention or you die racing game. And from the description and reviews I thought I was getting that. I dont expect much more, just a little. make it faster and fix the water, then you may easily have a 4-5 star game. potential buyers, get Riptide GP instead and see what a real boat racing game should be. Or at least look at it. if you want a peaceful ride or you liked the first version of this game, go ahead, I wont (cant :P ) stop you, I would just advise you to spend youre money somewhere else

This was the best water craft racer at one point but riptide gp pretty much destroys this game in every area: interesting levels, music, control options, handling, etc. if you really want a water craft racer, go get riptide gp. If you have anything below an iphone 3gs, i guess this is alright but you get knocked off your jet ski any time another jet ski bumps you.

You may want to double check update. Only thing that changed was the icon. Same graphics and still not optimized for IPhone 5. Bummer.......
